Ladghar beach also known as red pebble beach is a small, calm and less crowded weekend destination. Majority or almost all of the crowd here is either families or the ones who want a nice, quiet and quick vacation.
Distance: 11 km from Dapoli
Best time to visit:
Oct – Feb is a great time.
What to see:
Water sports can be done here at very reasonable rates.
The beach shore is made up of small red stones.
This is not a party zone. It is only meant to relax and have fun with your loved ones.
The water is clean. Swimming is safe for children.
The mountains to the left provide great photo-op.
Another thing you can do is go all the way up to Harnai at around 4pm by the thin village road along the coast line. There is Turtle hill at Harnai which gives great views of the Arabian sea and a beautiful sunset. You can also choose to see the sunset as you drive back to Ladghar through the thin road.

There are a number of beaches north and south of Ladghar.
Based on the number of vacation days, you can choose your beach and direction.
There are no restaurants here. Places that serve food are in-house to the resorts. Chances of any resort providing you food; if you are not staying there; is less. If you do go to Ladghar; stay in the properties lined to the beach.
There is a resort (Sagar Sawali Beach Resort) to the far left of the beach. It has a very good location and has cottages with sea view. We are mentioning this only because of its location.
The beach is flat and safe for swimming. Do try water sports if you would like to.
There is no ATM or fuel station at the beach. Dapoli is the nearest major town with ATM and Fuel station.
No need to carry water or food. There is everything here.
This is a beach. Carry sunscreen.
Most probably you would be here for picnic. Kindly consider the environment and DO NOT throw any kind of garbage. Carry it along with you. Dispose when you find dustbins.
